Trinity Cares: Relay for Life

Relay for Life team

Trinity Cares is a group of parishioners who coordinate with the American Cancer Society to raise promote the “Relay for Life.”

This year Trinity Cares sponsored a series of money raising events, raising close to $3000 ($2803) as a team total and now at Bronze status; to reach Silver we need to reach $3500.

Trinity Cares participated for the third year in Relay for Life Cranford. The Relay was held at Hillside School, May 20-21, 2011. The purpose of the event was to raise money for a cure for cancer through the American Cancer Society. Cans collected for the luminary bags were donated to a local food kitchen. The bags are purchased to honor a cancer survivor or in memory of a loved one or friend, and were used to light the track on the night of the Relay.
