We’re still many months away from singing together in-person, but in a desire to provide opportunity for fellowship and service through singing, we’re going to start “virtual choir.”  All are invited to participate and try virtual choir for a short two-month winter session.  Even if you don’t read music but just enjoy singing, you can participate!

Rehearsals will be completely virtual on the Trinity Zoom platform, Wednesday evenings from 8:15-9:00PM.  The winter session virtual choir will rehearse on the following dates.

Wednesday, January 27

Wednesday, February 3

Wednesday, February 10

Wednesday, February 24

Wednesday, March 3

Wednesday, March 10

Wednesday, March 17

Wednesday, March 24

The virtual choir will prepare several anthems during rehearsals together, to be recorded individually and edited into a virtual choir format.  I will provide audio tracks with your part and the accompaniment, with which you will be able to practice and record.

If you’re a little self-conscious, you don’t have to worry, as no one else will hear you singing in rehearsal and you’ll have practice tracks for your individual part. Also do not be discouraged by the recording aspect; I can assist you with the technology to create your virtual part in a number of ways, including recording you individually through Zoom or setting up a recording station at the church.

Likely Anthems:

God So Loved the World - Stainer - Lent 4 (and Palm Sunday)

Create in Me a Clean Heart - Mueller - Lent 5

Hallelujah Chorus - Handel - Easter

Come Ye Faithful - Thatcher - Easter 1

(Jesus Christ is Risen Today - Congregational Hymn)
